Sara is shocked when she observes her partner, Carla. Hiding her face up and being extremely quiet, until Sara gets a proficient wait, and doesn't know whether to scream, yell or hug Carla. Well Carla takes things into her ain hands, storming out of the precinct with some words that stun the whole strength! Not bad, a case they need to solve before things actually get out of hand, and now this!
A fantastic story that looks into some atrocious things many have gone through themselves, with care, and tenderness past an author who keeps her readers in mind with every line she writes. At that place are some explicit moments that may accept your exhale away, simply the kindness and hard piece of work by the police calm y'all as they try to find this kidnapper, and deal with any issues Carla may exist in.

Locked Away is the thirteenth volume in the DI Sara Ramsey serial. Equally some of the storyline focuses on Carla and her personal life in this book, I would recommend reading some of the previous novels before reading this i although the author has written information technology in a way that readers have enough data from what has happened previously of they adopt to spring straight into this i.Equally the blurb states, this is i warped villain in this example. I tin can't say also much just what the women who are kidnapped take to endure, seriously gave me the chills. It's one of those cases that will have the reader having mixed feelings when you lot come to understand the reasonings behind the kidnappings but that's all I am going to say on the thing as don't want to give anything away.
The storyline involving Carla and her partner had me get through so many emotions, mainly very similar to Sara and I think the way the writer handled this item topic was washed sensitively and well. Whilst I was wanting to take hold of Carla and give her a good shake, it fabricated me realise how manipulated victims of corruption are and certainly gave me a greater agreement.
Locked Abroad is a page turning, compulsive read of which I wouldn't expect annihilation less from Grand.A. Comley. She quickly draws you in and grabs concur, non letting go until you turn that last folio. I'm loving Sara and the team and didn't call back anyone could come shut to the characters in the writer'southward Justice series only DI Sara Ramsey is definitely hot on the heels of DI Lorne Simpkins! Another enthralling and gripping read!
My cheers to the author for an advanced readers re-create of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyhow.

As with all the previous books in this series, this is well written. Characters are fully fleshed out and the story line is full of action. There are twists and turns that are riveting. I really enjoy the interaction of Sara and her team, especially her partner, Carla. This time around Carla faces a personal outcome that may bear upon her professional life. Although 13th in the series, this is hands read equally a stand alone. However, i highly recommend the unabridged series.
Many thanks to the author for the digital copy of this crime fiction. Read and reviewed voluntarily, opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.

Having been bullied in primary school, this volume touched a raw nerve, fifty-fifty at present after all these years. One thing I love with this author is that she doesn't shy abroad from difficult topics. I found it very hard to stay neutral, although I wouldn't wish what happens in the book on anyone. My thanks to the author for yet another outstanding read.

And I continually was wondering about the motivation for one person to adduct multiple women after clearly stalking them to learn their routines, and in some cases in broad daylight too.
I was as well rather invested in the latest progression of Carla's storyline, and at times I was completely despairing with her in this book, while feeling for her too.
It's some other wonderful addition to this rather addictive serial. I couldn't get enough of trying to meet how information technology may unfold, and really enjoyed all the continuing storylines with the squad too.
Was also actually interesting to run into so closely into the mind of the abductor, who I didn't' empathise with at all fifty-fifty when we learn the motivation,.
Simply some other fabulous book from one of my favourite authors.
Give thanks you to the writer for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily,
...moreSo... some other mean solar day, another heinous criminal offence for Sara and her squad to get to grips with. Although Carla is a bit under par as she is going through a bit of private hell an Wowsers... book thirteen and admittedly no signs of flagging. This book is merely as fresh as book 1, as fresh as every book between as well. Usual series rules utilize if you want to get the all-time from Sara and the other serial characters, their backstories and evolution. And, as already hinted at, they are all cracking reads in themselves.
Then... another day, another heinous crime for Sara and her team to get to grips with. Although Carla is a bit under par equally she is going through a bit of private hell and is reluctant to either ask or accept help. So much and then that her previously strong relationship with Sara is seriously threatened. But this distraction isn't enough to keep our crime fighters away from their principal task, in this volume, being the kidnap of a woman. The ink is still wet on the reports of this first offense when another woman goes missing. Double the crime is not yielding double the clues notwithstanding and the team take their hands full merely starting to investigate. And then a tertiary woman is taken...
This amazing prolific author has many serial that she flits between and I have to say that this one is one of my favourites. I love the partnership between Sara and Carla, the manner they bicker 1 moment and support each other the side by side. The mode they can talk aboveboard and say it as it is, so... I was devastated when this was threatened by something and then horrible. My heart was in my mouth as I was reading some of the descriptions of what was going on. And then during the visit - sad, spoilers foreclose me from proverb much more - well, what true colours come out. I was begging the author to resolve this stuff... Y'all'll have to read yourself to find out what happens there though.
And once again, the main crime, the kidnapping, and the reasons for information technology. Phew, talk nigh harrowing.
All audio a fleck dark doesn't it. But, fearfulness not, the author has it covered. The balance is kept on the right path. There are lighter moments, some sense of humor and, aye, some weepy parts! And by the time I got to the end, after I'd run the emotional gamut, been put through the wringer, I saturday back exhausted and applauded the author for a job well done - at the same time as wagging my finger at what she put me through on the style...! ...more
One woman is kidnapped which starts a train of events. This great team of law-breaking workers with very piffling to go on manage to pull out all the stops and come up out on summit again. Brilliantly written, merely then this is what this author does best.
Covering so many taboo subjects in this volume and showings impacts of them.
I dear the Sara books and I am excited for the next 1 😀
Another brilliant edition of this exciting and thrilling series, subject field matter a little worrying merely the outcomes are always superb.

The blurb for the book sounded really good and as the balance of the series is excellent I really hoped it would alive up to my expectations and I accept to say having finished the book it was a brilliant read!
The plot was very well adult and the book was well written was I would have expected – it was punchy and had the perfect amount of particular that drew you into the story and held your attention right through to the terminate – I found it to be a real page turner and read it from cover to encompass in a 24-hour interval.
The characters in the book were great and I loved being able to grab upward with them, I love the dynamics in the series. I would say that this one could be read as a standalone but if you can read it within the series you will get more from it equally at that place is an underlying theme and the same characters in the primary throughout the serial.
Information technology is 5 stars from me for this one, a very well developed and gripping plot that was quite dark in places only having been bullied at school it was i that I could really feel for the primary graphic symbol at times – very highly recommended and a bang-up addition to this series!

Sara had previously been informed past her superior officeholder of the directive from headquarters that, in order to cut costs, staff levels were to exist reduced. It is a decision that Sarah has been putting off, but the time has at present come for her to select a member from her squad. How volition she decide which person should get out, particularly when she has such a slap-up team.

Meanwhile, whilst the team are looking into the disappearance of the first young woman, another 2 ladies are seemingly abducted. Are the cases linked? Will Sara and her team find and rescue the young women, or is it already likewise late?
Altogether a trying fourth dimension for Sara.
Definitely a volume you lot will not be able to put downwardly. Highly Recommended.

Yous can pretty much guarantee a good, like shooting fish in a barrel read when you lot pick upward a book by MA Comley and Book 13 in the DI Sara Ramsey series is no exception to this. What is a bit unlike this time is the discipline matter. There are two threads inside the book both dealing with dissimilar forms of physical and exact abuse. I am putting this out there as for some this may be a trigger. Nevertheless, exist assured this is handled in a sympathetic manner by the author leaving no doubts as to the wrongs.Briefly, someone is kidnapping women, non just i but a number of women. Is there a connectedness between the victims? Why are there no bodies? Are they dead or alive? Can Sara and her team stop the kidnapper before more women go missing? Alongside this Sara's piece of work partner Carla is at present back with her partner and he is still treating her badly only she won't confront to the fact that he needs help.
This is definitely more gruesome than nigh of the books I've read past this writer, for me not a bad thing at all, I liked this book a lot. Difficult to say much more without spoilers but if y'all are expecting cosy crime, in this example you are not getting that. A very enjoyable read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
